Description
Man sollte die Einbindung des favicons überarbeiten:
generell sollte das favicon wohl einfach in das root Verzeichnis und dann auch ohne jeglichen Hinweis in includes/header.php eingebunden werden.
Ebenso ist "shortcut" scheinbar kein valides Element bei Links.

Darüber hinaus sollte man das Thema Apple Icon nochmals genauer unter die Lupe nehmen: https://developer.chrome.com/multidevice/android/installtohomescreen

Darüber hinaus umgeht man gleich noch das Problem, dass das favicon sowohl unter http und https erreichbar ist ;)

hmm, ist das nun korrekt, dass anstatt einem Favicon ca. 30 im Quellcode auftauchen?
Damit ist das Problem mit http/https verzigfacht worden, anstatt gelöst...
Ebenso ist weiterhin "shortcut icon" enthalten?

Unterschiedliche Browser und Mobilgeräte erfordern hier unterschiedliche Größen, daher die neue Funktion.
Was du mit http/https Problem meinst verstehe ich nicht.
"shortcut icon" wird auch weiterhin für den IE8 benötigt. Erst der IE9 kommt nur mit "icon" zurecht.
