Description
Hallo zusammen,
ich schlage für die nächste Version vor, die Default MySQL Engine auf InnoDB umzustellen. Dies ist aufgrund der Weiterentwicklung von MySQL ein Performance Gewinn. Ich nutze seit 1.05 InnoDB problemlos. Aktuell ist nur noch eine Tabelle mit einem FULLTEXT Index. Das einzige Problem in der Community ist, wenn noch sehr alte MySQL Versionen eingesetzt werden. Bei 5.0 ist InnoDB langsamer als MyISAM. Die Frage ist aber sicherlich, welche Datenbanken noch supportet werden müssen.

Ich stimme zu, da MyISAM keine Transaktionen unterstützt, welche aber für eine sicheres Buchungsverhalten notwendig sind und von InnoDB unterstützt werden.
