Description
Aktuell wird Version 6 genutzt, damit noch PHP 5.6 genutzt werden kann.
Version 7 hat Mindestvorraussetzung PHP 7.0
Version 8 hat Mindestvorraussetzung PHP 7.3

Es gibt mittlerweile PHPfastcache Version 9 die aber PHP 8 voraussetzt.
Da Smarty auf Version 4.0.0 upgedated wurde und die nächste Shopversion somit mindestens PHP 7.1 voraussetzt, könnte man auf Version 7 updaten.
Da PHP 7.3 aber auch schon den end of life Status erreicht hat, wird das oder PHP 7.4 vielleicht die Mindestanforderung der neuen Shopversion. Dann könnte man auf PHPfastcache Version 8 umsteigen und hätte dann auch volle PHP 8 Kompatibilität.
