(Ich konnte das Problem jedoch im Demoshop mit einem transparenten PNG nicht nachstellen.)

2.) Funktion ""correctImageOrientation()"" darf nur auf jpg/jpeg ausgeführt werden, da nur diese EXIF Informationen beinhalten und es ansonsten bei anderen Bildformaten eine Warning im Log gibt:
